You may also have a good score, but do you know how to maintain that? Let’s see how you can improve and maintain your FICO score.
FICO score depends on many factors and so to improve or maintain your score, you need to take care of those factors. You need to perform better or improve in those factors. What you can do to positively affect these factors and improve your score.
Please pay your credit card bill every month. Pay the full amount. A heavy debt is a bad sign and it affects your score negatively.
Open only two or three credit card accounts and maintain them.
Do not open and close credit card accounts in short intervals. That hampers.
Pay off your debt. Do not keep debt for long time without paying it. Such an act will hamper your FICO score badly.
Never use your credit cards to the maximum.
Once or twice in a year, get the credit report from the three major credit bureaus. Check them and correct them if there is any mistake in them. These mistakes may be dangerous for your credit score.
Raising your credit score takes time. The best thing to raise and maintain your credit score is to prove that you handle debt carefully and efficiently. If you are responsible, it shows in the credit report. So be little responsible in the financial side and you can improve and maintain your credit scores.
