You Decide - A Condo or A House
You are ready to buy a real estate property. You have the resources, finance, and desire to invest in real estate. Now, you may face a problem. It’s the answer to the question – whether you should buy a single home or a condo. Both may be fine with you and you may find that you like both. But you need to decide on that and buy the best one for you.
Both condo and single home or home has its advantages and disadvantages.
If you want to enjoy the city life and have no obligations like children, then a condo may be better for you. But if you have children and do not like the hustle-bustle of the city, then you should look for a home.
A condo may provide easy access to the various parts of a city. Such condos are very useful for executives who move frequently. An easy access to the airport may be better choice, which you will not find in a single family home located one hour away from the city.
Buying a condo is feasible for many families but buying a home in the same place may not be affordable for many. The prices of condos and homes in the city are very high. With the price of a condo in the middle of the city, you can get a house many times the size of the condo, in the suburbs.
In condos you need to share the house with one or more families. You may also need to pay fees for insurance and up keeping, parking etc. You cannot have the independence to decide about your own condo, which you have to share with other members.
A family home can offer you independence and feel of freedom. You may like the spaciousness and the openness in a single-family home. You can enjoy more privacy, which is absent in the condos.
